Gematext Oy

Gematext Oy is a high quality language service provider.

It was founded in 1989 by two enterprising, professional interpreters, Guerrino (Rino) Gelmi and Juan M. Mallea, both with wide-ranging international experience in conference interpreting and official document translation.

For more than 20 years, Gematext Oy has been prominent in providing top quality interpretation and translation services to organisations and companies in Finland and throughout the world. Their clients include the European Union, the Council of Europe, the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), the Parliament of Finland, several ministries, organisations and private corporations.

Our aim is to provide accurate services which offer value for money, competitive and high professional standards of language consultancy.

We are committed to ensuring that interpreters' performance, working conditions and remuneration meet international standards established by the International Association of Conference Interpreters (AIIC).

The interpreters in our teams are members of the Finnish Association of Translators and Interpreters (SKTL) and / or of the International Association of Conference Interpreters. All our interpreters and translators are native speakers and we undertake a rigorous recruitment process for all our staff. We are responsible for co-ordination and liaison with clients.

Our mission is to provide a service which gives clients trust and confidence in the accuracy of our translation and interpreting.
